Casco Phil once again travels abroad with a performance in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, performing works by Bryce Dessner, Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky. Dessner’s ecstatic Aheym, Mendelssohn’s energetic “Italian” symphony and Tchaikovsky’s virtuosic Rococo Variations, performed by cellist Pierre Fontenelle, promise an evening of musical splendor and diversity.
