Op het Antwerp Spring Festival brengen we die intergenerationele dialoog op de planken. Met enerzijds natuurlijk muziek van Beethoven zelf: de ouverture uit de toneelmuziek voor\u00a0Egmont\u00a0<\/i>en de\u00a0Vijfde Symfonie<\/i>\u00a0met zijn iconische openingsnoten. Die werken combineren we met muziek van componisten uit eigen land. Toondichters als Luc Van Hove en de betreurde Wim Henderickx die met admiratie naar Ludwig van keken, en vervolgens op een volstrekt eigen manier met zijn symfonische toontaal aan de slag gingen.<\/p>\n
